Design, discovery, synthesis, characterization, and exploration of novel solid state bulk materials, including correlated electron systems, new ferromagnetic materials, topological insulators, thermoelectric power materials and superconductors.

Open Positions

One post-doc position in experimental condensed matter physics group is available. The candidate will focus on synthesis and characterization of topological electron systems, such as Weyl semimetals and 3D Dirac semimetals. A combination of single crystal growth, solid state reaction, X-ray, transport and thermodynamic measurements will be involved in the research.

主要研究方向:



探索和合成新型体材料,包括强关联电子系统,拓扑绝缘体和新型热电材料。 近年来从事具有光催化活性的半导体材料的能带设计和电子性质表征工作。

代表性成果及贡献简述:

  •  稀磁稀土金属间化合物的电子性质研究。相继发现了包括高温铁磁,近铁磁的强关联系统,重费米子等一系列特异的电子现象。
  • ThCr2Si2结构化合物的结构相变与磁性质的研究。首次发现了包括由化学键断裂导致的量子相变等一系列奇异的物理现象。
  • 新型的拓扑绝缘体材料和量子相变;以及提高拓扑绝缘体材料性能,新型热电材料等。
