ICQM has acted as a collaborating institution for Conference on Novel Quantum States in Condensed Matter, which was held in University of Chicago Center in Beijing, as its first international event, from Sep 1st to 3rd, 2010. Prof. X. C. Xie, ICQM Director, acted on invitation to be one of the local co-organizers. Prof. E. G. Wang served on the conference Advisory Committee.
