Yanfei Zhao in Jian Wang’s Group won the “OCPA-APS Outstanding Conference Poster Award” (First-place award)
Yanfei Zhao, PhD student of Prof. Jian Wang in International Center for Quantum Materials, School of Physics, Peking University, won the OCPA-APS Outstanding Conference Poster award in OCPA8. The 8th Joint Meeting of Chinese Physicists Worldwide (OCPA8) was held from June 23 to June 27 in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. OCPA stands for International Organization of Chinese Physicists and Astronomers. The chartered goals of the organization are to promote physics and astronomy research in general and to promote recognition of achievements by ethnic Chinese physicists and astronomers in particular. The OCPA-APS Outstanding Conference Poster Awards for the OCPA8 conference are jointly sponsored by the American Physical Society (APS) and OCPA. The overall goal of OCPA-APS is to promote excellence in poster presentation and to reward outstanding efforts. Yanfei Zhao in Jian Wang’s Group won the first-place OCPA-APS Outstanding Conference Poster award in Condensed Matter and Materials Sciences for an excellent poster presentation of experimental observation of surface transport in topological insulating heterostructure.
